Dr Wong is an infectious disease physician and has been in private practice for more than 15 years. Dr Wong helps to manage the Infectious Disease Specialists Group and is building it into an organization that focuses on enhancing patient care and safety. He was previously Head, Department of Infectious Diseases at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Clinical Director, Communicable Disease Centre. Dr Wong served 2 terms as an elected member of the Singapore Medical Council until November 2012 and sits on various committees at the Ministry of Health and restructured hospitals. Dr Wong is the SMA Representative on the Workplace Safety Health Council (Healthcare). He looks after inpatients at Gleneagles, Mt Elizabeth Orchard, Mt Elizabeth Novena and Farrer Park Hospitals. He sees outpatients at our group’s clinics, and his clinic at Gleneagles Medical Centre has received JCI accreditation.
