WOMEN’S HEALTH PANEL TWO

WL&H WOMEN’S HEALTH PANEL TWO is specially designed for women who want a more in-depth view of their health status and have scans such as a Mammogram.

The Panel includes:

  • DEXA Bone Mineral Densitometry Scan that screens the minerals in the bone for possible signs of osteoporosis
  • Tumour Marker Panel for a broad screening for tumour markers including female-specific markers
  • Stool Analysis to screen for any internal bleeding
  • Blood Type Grouping Test
  • Coagulation Test to screen for the risk of thrombotic disease
  • Additional Inflammatory Markers to screen for inflammations that pose risk for cardiovascular, metabolic and overall health
  • A choice of either: a Mammogram, an Ultrasound of the Breasts or an Ultrasound of the Pelvis

The Women’s Panel Two looks beyond the regular non-communicable diseases and explores other aspects of health that females experience higher risk compared to males.

WL&H WOMEN’S HEALTH PANEL THREE is specially designed for mature women looking to have a fully comprehensive gender/sex-sensitive health screening that includes a HPV & ThinPrep PAP Test.

WL&H Women’s Health Panel THREE features the following added tests from panel TWO:

  • An Expanded Lipid Profile to further screen for indicators of cardiovascular disease
  • Screen for Anti-CCP that has superior diagnostic accuracy of rheumatoid arthritis
  • Screen for Helicobacter Pylori (a bacteria that causes peptic ulcers)
  • Pelvic Ultrasound to assist in screening for abnormalities in the structure of the uterus and tumours within the pelvis
  • An Expanded Mineral Profile that includes Vitamin D and Magesium, Serum
  • HPV & ThinPrep PAP Test for the screening and detection of cervical cancer

This panel features a screen for important non-communicable and lifestyle related diseases including (but not limited to) the following: diabetes, basic cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol, renal dysfunction, liver abnormalities, anaemia, hormonal imbalances, infection/nonspecific inflammation, iron deficiency, Syphilis AB, HIV and gout.

It also includes a DEXA screening for possible osteoporosis, a tumour panel to screen for tumour markers (especially for breast and ovaries), a thyroid panel to screen for possible metabolic dysfunction, a stool analysis to screen for occult blood (which may be an early warning sign of internal bleeding and colorectal cancer), Hepatitis A and B testing as well as additional tests to screen for inflammation in the body.
